Being a high school junior is horrific for everyone, but for Lindsay Welks it’s deadly.  After a guy who takes her to the movies ends up asleep–permanently–she finds a bizarre note on her pillow written by someone promising to control her future.

When her estranged step-father pops up out of nowhere, bringing with him unspeakable memories of her past, Lindsay reaches the end of her rope.  As her world falls apart, she turns to Brett Carpenter.  But is Brett the guy of her dreams or her worst nightmare?

THE KEEPER is a complete novel, the first in my Elmhurst Series.  THE PRETENDER, the second book in the series, is also complete.  Currently, I am working on the third book, THE SILENCER.

Also, I am a Master Level Writing Tutor and work at Lansing Community College where I assist students with their academic papers and am a frequent workshop presenter.
